What is more economic - replacement of stone plates or repolishing?
As show researches - cost of works on polishing approximately in 5-6 times more low, than cost of complete replacement of floors or their refacing by a new stone. There is a question, and whether always it is possible pereshlifovat a stone surface? Under what conditions it should be done?
Variant when in a floor covering simply is absent 20 and more % of plates, we will not discuss, of course, and we will speak only about those floors where all cover is whole.
Polishing process is expedient for applying at depth of hollows or differences between plates to 3-4 mm on marble floors and 1-2 mm on granite, at an average thickness of plates of 20-30 mm (to level deeper hollows too many forces and means is required). But depth of hollows in 5-6 mm meets not often. In 90 cases from 100 depth of scratches and differences does not exceed 3-4 mm.
