Experimentally-theoretical researches of compound beams on metal gear plates.

Wooden beams as basic elements of wooden designs, are widely applied in buildings and the structures most of different function.

If necessary bearing ability of beams from integral wood can be increased, connecting bars on height by means of metal gear plates (MZP). Compound beams from the bars, rallied on metal gear plates, meet the requirements of industrial manufacturing. At manufacturing of such beams it is possible to ue the equipment applied by production of farms with central connections on MZP. These connections were compared to all kinds of connections of wooden designs and their distinctive features are revealed. In comparison with designs on nails and cuttings following dignities of designs with connections on MZP are allocated:
  • Labour efficiency substantial increase at their manufacturing (in 40 and more times);
  • Decrease in the cost of wood (to 20 %) and steels (to 30 %);
  • Simplicity of transportation and significant acceleration of their installation on object.
In comparison with connections on prizmaticheskih and round shponkah, nagelyah, the stretched communications, connections on MZP differ smaller labour input and specific consumption of materials.

The basic distinctive feature of work of compound beams from bars is that at their account on durability and on deformations it is necessary to consider a pliability of connections on MZP. The pliability of connections leads to shift of the elements making a beam. Regional normal pressure and deflections of beams in comparison with similar beams of integral section as a result increase. In practical accounts it consider, entering special factors kw and kzh by the resistance and inertia moments accordingly, calculated as for integral section.

For revealing of features of an intense condition of compound beams with connections on MZP on chair of building designs and the bases tests of beams, and also an experimental research of bearing ability of plate MZP-M-1.5 which purpose consisted in definition of bearing ability of teeths of a new plate on shift and in definition of an individual pliability of connection are conducted. Compound beams have been tested (from two and three elements) on MZP-M-1.5 flight of the Beam of their two elements of 4 m. represented two bars section 100h100 the mm, connected MZP (114h90 mm) with step of 450 mm. Beams from three elements represented three bruska section 75h100 the mm, connected MZP (75h79 mm) with step of 700 mm.

For an estimation of influence of defects of wood on reduction of bearing ability of compound beams and by character of their subsequent destruction the fault register on which basis the conclusion that wood of the produced beams concerns the third grade has been drawn has been made. Test of designs was conducted at specially developed stand in chair laboratory. Humidity of wood has made 8,5 % and 8 % accordingly for compound beams of two and three elements.

As a result of researches experimental significances of the module of the elasticity are received, equal 8,1-104 kgs / sq. sm and 9,7-104 kgs / sq. sm accordingly for compound beams from two and three elements that is close to standard significance E=105 kgs / sq. see

Shift deformations under settlement load in basic zones have made 1,87-2,03 mm and 4,03-5,5 mm accordingly for compound beams of two and three elements.

The deflection at standard load has made 2,1 sm and 2,7 sm accordingly for compound beams of two and three elements that exceeds the limiting deflection equal 2 see

Destruction of designs has occurred at N=1660 kgs and N1=1640 kgs accordingly for compound beams from two and three elements at fragile character of destruction. The safety factor has made 2,28 for both designs that corresponds to norm.

On the basis of results of the carried out research of compound beams wooden designs from elements of compound section are developed. These designs represent:
  • Compound beams flight of 6 m;
  • Racks in height of 6 m made of two elements;
  • shprengelnyie systems flight of 6 and 12 m;
  • Arches flight of 12 m;
  • Triangular farms flight of 12 and 18 m;
  • trapetseidalnyie farms flight of 24 m;
  • Triangular farms with the top belt of variable section flight of 12 and 15 m.
Account of 10 kinds of designs which can be used in practice is made.
